Emma joined Structure Design in February 2016 after spending 6 years in the UK.
Emma helps clients and architects to achieve a building or other structure they’re proud of and happy with. She does this by looking at each project holistically – believing anything is possible. It’s only by exploring options, using common-sense, and being willing to approach the unknown that she can develop the best structural solutions.
You can expect Emma to listen, make sure she understands your vision and requirements, communicate clearly in plain English and be there for you. She is big on designing things that can be built so you won’t get impractical options.
In 2015 Emma was one of the 30% of engineers who passed the Institution of Civil Engineers Chartership exam, which involved a design in a day competition. She also shares her passion by visiting schools to talk to children about a career in structural engineering and its ability to bring numbers to life.
